    So... I'm not a huge A/V /Home theater junkie. I bought a Cambridge Soundworks Home Thearter package (5 MC300 speakers, Sub, and Marantz Reciever) when I got my Plasma about 5 years back. Decent system... but I have a question pertaining to AMPS & Intergrated AMPS. Do they make a big difference to a home theater package? What kind of improvements would I get?

    Also, anyone live in a older house and get a hum when you turn your volume up? It's annoying... wonder if there is a fix?
