5timuli, that's damn annoying. I absolutely hate when audiences act inappropriately in a theatre. Not to say that they can't react to things the way they really feel, but it's obvious that many just want attention.
Anyway, I don't avoid movie theatre crowds (unless I can download the film right away) because I like seeing good movies when they come out. Hopefully the theatre won't be that bad when I go. It usually isn't, depending on how big the venue is. The bigger the venue = the less annoying ppl are.
