I'm on a MacBookPro at the moment running win XP in bootcamp. It works pretty much the same as running XP on any computer. I have anti-virus running. I have 50:50 win/mac on my hard drive. I've had small issues with odd things not working but I think they were down to drivers (digital camera). I had a major issue with a memory stick as well which screwed the installation - but again its now semi sorted ( I don't use the memory stick).
I have fastest MacBookPro with 3GB RAM - xp runs like lightening (PS/ILL/FLASH etc). Some issues with configuring dual monitors - but again google and persistance won through. Bootcamp is still beta but overall I'm 80% happy - I still feel the set up is non standard so I'm never sure if problems are my fault/win XP/or the MacBookPro so I guess it adds another level of complexity to maintaining ones system properly.
I also have parallels on the MAC OS - works well for testing.
