I agree with honesty. honesty and objectivity (as much as its possible)
I promote honesty at work, always provide my true opinion when requested. In addition, I find that objectivity helps a lot. When I arrived at my current firm, there were tendencies to say "I like this" and "I don't like this" ... so I steered the ship to focus on "what works" and what doesn't. provoding clear explanation of why one feels these ways...
Aside from th work stuff, Environment guides a lot of inter-personal relationships. try to foster a good one.
