    this often is the case - if you have changed networks or are at a different location to usual - it may require you to simply send through the SMTP server of the network that you are on. When I'm at work, I use smtp.optusnet.com.au when I'm at home I use smtp.idx.net.au - that is the only difference in the Thunderbird that I need to make.

    Obviously I don't know your circumstances but that might help someone along the line. :)
