  Well, it's a normal php mySql app, so it is possible to run it on shared hosting.
  It has it's own install tool, so all you need to know is the name of your mySql database.
  But it has some special features like graphics handling, pdf writing etc. which requires some special components to be installed on the server, like the GDlibrary, ImageMagick etc. but no problem to run without.
