From a freelancer perspective:
Time and a half for weekend. Double time for overnight/proj's with less than 24 hr notice (aka rush fee).
That's if you're really good at what you do and you're not charging a lot already. ie. If your normal rate is 100 p/h, I doubt you can charge 200 p/h. But if your rate is 50 p/h then you can def charge 100 p/h easily. You just need to find that threshold with that particular client really. There may be a lot of people or competition who would do both at a normal rate, who aren't as good but can still do a decent job.
If you don't have a problem getting work, then charge the above. If you don't have a lot of work, then you should get whatever you can. This is something you should def let the client know up front, the first time you work with them.
