mac is extremely solid in my opinion. I haven't had a problem in 6 years that i couldn't fix easily.
right now I use a Imac g5 w/ isight. its a dream. no road blocks what so ever.
+ macs can run windows on them now. So really what seems to be the concern is the $$$$. right? man its worth it. I got mine used (only 3 months) for $1100
