    I've heard of this place called mcgibbons lofts in bushwick/williamsburg
    lots of musicians and artists.

    I just moved to "east williamsburg" and i use that term loosely, because i am 20steps from the bushwick border, i feel safe and i'm white as hell i grew up in long island.

    and Lastly, there is a place in park slope, 225 18th street between 5th and 6th that my friend used to live in, some of the lofts are gorgeous and some are crap but they are big. It's above the Mad Arts center, maybe you can call them for info.
