    Respond Why is there no way to cut/paste files/folders from one folder to another?

    click on a folder or file, command c then command v to paste. there is also a menu option like your pee cee Edit>Copy dummy

    Notice I said, cut/paste (as in Move), not copy/paste...

    Windows has the option to do either ctrl-c to copy, ctrl-x to cut, ctrl-v to paste.
