acescense, how does mythTV work on it?
I kinda want to setup a linux box for dvr but have like a million other projects going on right now.

(Jan 30 07, 09:27)he's got it running fairly smoothly now after a rocky start, but he has a pretty complicated setup- three different video cards and 2 audio cards. occasionally the front end will crash, though the back end that handles all the scheduling and recording is pretty rock solid.
ubuntu has a distro that's got myth tv as part of the install and is pre-tuned to work well with it, probably a good place to start
