    png do not display correct colors per hex values

    so if have a black edged alpha image on top of hex valued html, the blacks would not match

    also, transparent gif has been used to reduce load and file size, png takes up higher file size, not to be used unless it is really needed. everything can easily solved with using proper gifs and jpgs along with html
