You are a good guy mg33, thats why you gave the site and poster away for free more or less. I have done that too in the past when I was in school and needed an extra buck for booze and beer.
Now I would never touch anything that pays under
$50/h. Why? Well, because I have little sparetime and if I have to spend it working for someone else, they will have to pay for it. I don't see any carpenters building kitchens and windows for anything less than $50 or any other Joe Handyman for that matter.
Just because it's computer work instead of a saw and hammer doesn't mean it needs to be cheaper.Adding to the portfolio is okay, but do something imaginary but cool looking project instead of some half ass'd semi probono thing.
