    I dig Ableton Live!'s capabilities, but have never, ever liked its interface.

    woaah..
    to me it's the best interface ever made..

    the collapsable tip window at the bottom, the built in tutorials, with slideshow, the search files tool, the drag n drop, the way you zoom in and out of the main timeline, and I can go for hours..

    I think a lot of the pro software solutions could learn A LOT from ableton interfase and that goes also for video editing software like avid or fcp

    that's just me though...
