    not only would you learn that the majority of the cuban people supports castro, the realise that nothing is perfect, but things could be a lot worse. Of course i've also met anti-castroists, but i must say most of them didn't have a very realistic image of the outside world (no freedom of press i know, but they idealized everything outside of cuba)

    and then there is a large sentiment of 'castro's time might be over, may be change would be good, but please let us do it ourselves and not those bastards from miami"

    and last but not least talking about being fucked by your government, check the transparency international corruption index and find that people in for example poland and croatia are more likely to become a victim of their own government in that respect

    not trying to defend authoritarian regimes, just wanted to get some facts straight

    i also believe it's time for cuba to reform, but not to much, i would like it if there would be at least a few countries in the world that didn't have a mcdonalds
