but why did'nt city officials or government officials put the money into building a stronger & safer Levee system
We as citizens pay taxes and are suppose to trust our government to keep us safe ...

and when things fail as they did in New Orleans should the governement wait almost a week to send in the cavalry with the bare necessities of food & bottled water & medicine
it just seemed like no one cared about the people who literally had no means of getting out ....
