Anyone who can say with a straight face that the levees were blown up by the white man, to ruin the nearly all-black ninth ward is out of their mind.
That movie is filled with conspiracy theories against the 'white man' that add fuel to this racism bullshit he promotes.
Put any race into any ward in New Orleans and the same destruction would have happened regardless.
It's funny how Spike Lee conveniently left out the part in his movie where while on the way to the Dome the people stopped and raided/destroyed all the buildings along the way. Hotels for the first three floors were broken into and raided. Rooms were broken into and in every room the only things that were stolen was the booze from the mini bars. That's a fact. Then they smeared their shit on the walls and broke nearly everything in the rooms.
Inside the Dome while the hurricane approached early reports said it was a free for all beer bash.
Hell, look at the video when Oprah went in. Did you happen to notice the mounds of empty beer cases and empty bottles of beer and booze on the floor? She could hardly take a step without kicking a glass bottle.
They (and I say they for everyone in the Dome, not as a specific race) stole alcohol and didn't give a shit thinking this was going to be like every other hurricane. Then, after all hell broke loose 'oops, I guess we should have taken food and water.'
It's a joke and his 'movie' is going to do nothing more than add fuel to a fire that doesn't need to keep burning.
