People are addicted to the internet, and would rather spend time on t heir online communities than go outside.
This is a stretch of course, but it'd be like making Philip Morris of Marlboro fame the 'Person(s) of the Year.'
I'm not saying people in this thread per say, however, I do know people who would rather stay in and play poker all nite than go outside, people who would rather read about everything going on in their friends lives than go out and join them.
It's kind of disgusting.
Then again, maybe I'm looking at a few bizarre cases.
