i wouldn't say to stay away from disc all together...you are right with the set-up and maintenace being alot easier with the magura hydros...used to own a set of HS11.
but i would argue that they're better performance wise...i think its a matter of opinion and what style of riding you do...i personally wouldn't go back, i love my discs even if they're a bitch to work on!
