Go with Jamis.
The frame is great and they give you high quality parts at competive rates.
I suggest the Dakota AL. If you get last years model new you'll get a $1,000 bike for about $800.
Don't pay less than around $600 or so if you plan on riding much or you'll just be buying a new one by years end.
