don't worry. everything you are going through is normal. i was there too not so long ago, but now i say fuck working for free unless its an awesome project for close friends/family.
you need to charge, but you need to charge what you're worth...don't get in the habit of doing work for free. trust me, it sucks. and it also devalues the work of our industry.
