about six months ago i was working on a theatrical play. doing mostly web and video stuff. one of the largest supporters of that play was the city council of tallinn (the capital of estonia). usually they use some sort of coat of arms for there logo but they have strict guidelines for it. we tried to understand those guidelines and even asked the council itself but couldn't get a straight answer. so, we wrote Tallinna Linnavalitsus (tallinn city council) in times new roman, one word beneath the other, and used that as their logo everywhere.
and it looked pretty nice and appropriate... ;)
