i would make to clear to this "other designer"... tell him you want a bigger cut. If you didn't sign a contract....walk. Make sure to take all of the files with you. Or...keep on building your relationship with the client and the next project do for dolo. Explain to the client there seems to be a stuctural challenge going on and you plan on starting your own company after t5his project is complete. He will respect the fact that you dont want to fuck him...but again...if you dont see more work coming in the future...walk...
