i received an email this morning form a designer in india questioning the origin of a logo i have on my site, which pointed me toward their client's site featuring the logo in question.
while similar, it is not close enough to draw any suspicion by a trained designer, one versed in rudimentrary ip laws anyway.
i come to find that this is a recent project by my indian correspondant, whereas the mark i penned was done so years ago.
so i had to spend 1hour out of my day to deal with some hack in india who wants me to take down my work because he copied it, changed it, and now thinks it looks too similar for me to continue showing.
i stand with you.
