a bit unrelated but over the weekend i was down in missouri with a buddy at his new hunting cabin on his property. when he bought the property for a few years they were using an old hunting cabin that was actually a hunting lodge they figure about 100+ years ago. he hadn't told me much about it but when he took me to go see it O. M. G. the cabin was literally filled with posters, flyers, ads, you name it from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. all vingage, all hanging from the walls in sealed plastic envelopes. and i forgot my fucking camera at home.
the stuff was amazing slinky. there were at least 20 of those types of posters on the wall. it was in awe.
old car ads, war bond ads. it was amazing.
i might be going down again next month and i'll be sure to take my camera. some amazing stuff. all mint condition.
