    ... in the end... it's business.

    When you think about it - the Oscars aren't public opinion - they're 'the academy' (aka... peers in the Industry) who give out the awards... just like Grammy's.... and ... oh shit!! Don't get me started on Journalism!!! Wheee!! Yay!! A pulitzer must mean the writer is very gifted...

    ... at least... in the eyes of 'his/her' peers... but not the 'general public'...

    ... which is where we all reside as designers... we solve 'visual problems'... what we 'do' isn't exactly ground-breaking... except to our peers (and ourselves)...

    ... to quote Dirty Harry:

    "You're a legend in your own mind."
