it's a lot like the cuban missle crisis of 62. russia bluffed by putting their missles in cuba. the u.s. called and russia folded.
basically it came down to neither side wanting to actuall go to war, it was all politics bluffing each other for status and power.
want to know why that is true?!? cause even after russia lost the standoff the russians told their people they pulled out to save america from destruction and pulled to wool over their people's eyes to make them believe they had one. status in politics.
it's all a huge bluff by all parties.
