I understand Kona, but this is all part of PNAC's plan to topple Iran. If the house goes to the democrats this november, there is basically no way that he will get Iran easily.

Of course special forces are in Iran gathering Intel - duh. No biggie there. There's no way, unless Iran provoked it in some way, that the US can afford to go into Iran with it being spread so thin as it is between Iraq and Afghanistan right now. That would be the nail in the coffin for republicans come November.

Bush's UN speech about Iran and Iraq (indirectly) today is really scary. The whole "War of ideologies" mantra is a fucking catastrophic thought virus. You can't say shit like that and in the same speech say "We want peace".

jevad's right. the us military is spread way too thin and we would be invading iran with what army? gathering the needed supplies and bodies would take months, and pull troops away from our other engagements, which hasn't happened. it's all talk in hopes to keep iran from doing something stupid. hell, maybe the u.s. is even trying to test the waters to see who would back us if we were even considering it, but it's just not going to happen.
