Great organization. I agree with Bio-pix are a little fuzzy. The intro takes too long to load for my liking; I say, keep it simple.
My eye immediately gets pulled to all that white space at the bottom. Seems awkward. I'd also suggest simplifying the varied purples...a little busy.
