    The difference is that I can record and retrieve anything I want in and out of it.

    There's no cap on encoding quality either. If you pay 12$ for an album encoded at 128kbps you're a sad loser.

    hmm.. i get everything on/off that i want and i don't buy music on the itunes music store (which imposes the cap, NOT the ipod). i guess that means i deserve a device that suits my needs perfectly, yeah!
