It is true that many agencies don't like to deal with visas and stuff for various reasons, but it is still worth a try.
The agency I am working with right now didn't care about dealing with the visa situation.Here's a thought. Since you can get a work holiday visa to work in canada, why don't you try that? Once you're here you can start knocking on doors and see if someone is willing to hire you just like me.
