hmm, good point. You could try accout for a learning curve, but that would be tough. I like basing it on hours so the client won't keep giving you endless changes... a flat rate may have this happen more often.
Are you doing the code as well? I may try and push 750-1000, but since it's an early piece it may be better to play it safe. Hard to say.
