exador - I'm the same way with many friends. At least 20-30 people I was good friends with in high school, we all still keep in touch, know what's going on in our lives, go to each others weddings and such. So, after the reunion on Saturday night, on Sunday we're having a barbecue for our particular group of friends including people that were not in our class. Should be fun - it will probably really make me miss how many of my friends all live near each other again and it's kind of back to being like the old days.
