    thanks otapnam, I know of the review sites. It's just I've been using a d70 with the kit lens which has been fine, and I'm about to buy a lens which for me is a bit of a jump or leap of faith. I was just wondering if from a designers perspective there's any stories or advice, thats all.

    Thanks Rand, I think I will go for the Nikon 18-200 that is if they get them to the UK..
