    thanks for the input. i feel the same way, but in speaking with my dad and a few of the people i work with, they were pretty adamant that i had a suit for some of the places. one girl said it would be very necessary, but she is on the business side of the firm. i feel like a shirt/pants/tie is formal enough, especially when half the creatives i've ever met wear jean shorts to work.
