my gf and i did the uhaul thing from dallas to los angeles back in march.
worst idea ever.
ever.
especially the part where we got snowed in in new mexico. i didn't know nm even got snow...
anyway, between towing the car and being super paranoid about hitting someone when switching lanes in that barn on wheels, it was hard to enjoy the trip itself - which 'should' be part of the moving experience. and with the price of gas, we didn't save much in the end.
and we got lucky with leaving our trailer at a non-trailer-dropoff location...
