awesome info from all.. much thx.
it's a catlogue cover on 100lb cover, printed first 4C process and then thermoG ontop. the artwork is quite rough/ sketchy so i'm OK with some imperfections, lost detail and that mottled texture you sometimes get with the raised ink.
spendogg.. great advice. will pass on to the printer.
