  They're all good cameras. Nikon is good too. I choose Canon because I applaud their commitment to research and development. They lead the digital SLR market by a long shot. Nikon follows (although their systems are good—it truly comes down to preference). Nikon produces richer color strait from the camera; that's about the only pro (I personally) dig about the Nikon systems. But if you're looking at the 350D and up, you're going in the right direction.
