1. Ditch the orange, unless it's knocking out of a dark color. Otherwise, it will disappear if this is ever faxed to anyone.
2. It feels a bit stair-steppy on the first version. The layout is a valiant effort but is currently more distracting than informative. I'd try to come up with a more top-to-bottom grid instead of the current triangular thing.
3. Get rid of the Activities. Irrelevant.
4. Beef up the experience, as long as there aren't any straight-up lies. Looks pretty thin right now...I know this is a student resume, but I still think you should elaborate a bit more.
5. Separate the sections a bit more. right now it all runs together in one huge chunk on the vertical version. add more leading between your sections.
