"client insisted the project be done on a mac" That really is strange. I went for 2GB of memory to help with running applications like Photoshop under Rosetta until I can buy Universal Binary editions of CS3.. then the slowness will be a forgotten issue... though I'm yet to see how it actually performs for myself, I don't expect it to be all that bad as Ive ran Photoshop on a 400MHZ G3 for a long time then on a 400MHZ G4 tower!
