there is pro, and non pro.
non pros rave about how cool their cameras are. pros usually care more about quality and reliability, image quality and rentability. when other lenses, equip is needed for a certain shoot, canon and nikon are the only options available.
you would never see a tamron lens for rent at a pro equipment house. tamron anything will never see the inside of my camera bag. brand name lenses only. not to diss, its just fact.
i hear many cats rave about their cameras. really who cares.. its what you are shooting.
