gramme, people have a difficult time understanding when you hold to absolutes. They misunderstand it as being self-righteous or judgemental. When it comes to Christianity, people automatically go on the defensive for this reason and others. They ASSUME that you are looking down on them, when you are not. Part of it is because they become self conscious about the fact that you have gotten your heart right with God and they know they haven't, etc... those kinds of things. It is our responsibility as believers to clearly communicate that we do not have it together and the only reason we are even here is because of the unfathomable love of Christ and the forgiveness we do not deserve.
