i have so much to say to so many people. i hope this doesn't fan the flames.
for every person who someone thinks is pushing religion down their throat, there is another person pushing their belief that there is no religion down theirs. it's a never ending cycle. really, who fucking cares. both sides need to mind their own fucking business.
what the fuck happened to this country?
i remember when i was in grade school we had one girl who's family didn't believe in god. every morning went something like this.
..."one nation... (no response)... indivisible, with liberty and justive for all. (no response)."
i don't EVER remember her parents complaining to the school, because their one child didn't want to say the word god and the rest of the 80+ students did.
i just don't fucking get it.
and to those who seem to think christians, and their priests and nuns want to exterminate and end homosexuality you're absolutely wrong, and, a fucking dipshit.
just this past saturday i spent 3 hours at a retreat that my fiance' and i had to attend for the catholic church before we got married. the nun of more than 50 years of service said, and i quote...
"... really, and you can tell the pope i said this if you want to... who gives a damn if someone is a homosexual or not? i believe, and let me tell you... there are MANY more people of the faith like me who feel the same way... that as long as you believe in god who gives a shit (yes she did say shit) who you're in love with."
i'd say a small majority of the people in high power of the faith still believe in the old school teachings, but with time it's changing. and, i feel the media only wants to report the negative shit like this as it's good news.
if i had a dollar every time i heard a guy who isn't married with no kids say "religion is fine but keep it out of the schools" i'd be rich. and i'd like to ask them, why, they want it out of the schools if they don't even have any children. "well, uh... my nephew doesn't need that shit and i don't want that for him", well sir, don't you think that's your nephews parent's choice, and ultimately your nephews choice?
you're basically trying to force your agenda on them, exactly like the very thing you think is being forced onto you. it's fucking comical.
since i stopped arguing politics and religion i feel 100 times better, i think some of you should too. it's old and completely useless.
