WildFlower, if you raise a theological argument, you had better be prepared for a theological response...
1. If the God we are talking about is the God of the Bible, then the doctrine of original sin explains the flaws in nature and the entropy we observe. Things decay and die. This is the deliterious effects of sin.
2. The implications of this are that things now are not as they have always been.
