I believe
I am seeing a rift
between
people who can look past
the horrible acting, shoddy
plot structure and overall
corporate wackness of a film lie
Matrix2, and simply enjoy the effects, and those of use who cannot.Now I , being an FX-man myself,
will often go to films, knowing full well the story may be shady, but still decent enough to make the FX, (the main reason i'm there-for research) worth the viewing. Hey maybe the FX and the acting will actually supoort each other and really make an excellent film ... like Matrix1.This stated, Matrix 2, had some piss poor sub plot shit about a power struggle between some fuckers i could care less about, and a Man and Woman who are quibbling because he is away so much fighting in the Matrix.
Now .... you tell me ... what the fuck -- sub plots like that
really have nothing to do with anything, in fact i could go on regarding other plot lines and performances that were soap -opera -esque but it ain't worth it.i understand tho - why matrix 1 was a revolutionary film ... no need to go there ... but matrix2
lost something, and i'm afraid no amount of bad ass effects can fill the plot holes and corny line deliveries in Matrix2.bad job warkowski brothers.
My advice ....
Learn the lesson George Lucas is failing to get.... CG can kill
