Take a wine cork and a finished bottle and jam the cork inside the bottle.
Bet someone at the party that you can remove the cork from the bottle before they can get a new a bottle and open it.
Now take a cloth dinner napkin and grab one corner of it. Dog-ear the tip about an inch and a half. Roll the napkin up in a tube, overlapping one side under the other. Now slide that into the empty wine bottle. invert the bottle and catch the cork in the napkin, jiggle the cork unitl it vertically aligned with the tube of the napkin. Slowly drawing the napkin outward until the cork is snuggly wedged in the mouth of the bottle with a good amount of the linen napkin surrounding it. Pull firmly and everthing will come out together.
This also works well with smart ass waiters.
