I had a huge chest op when I was 17 - it was totally awesome, they cut me right open and broke my sternum in 3 places, removed a couple of ribs and broke several others. It was a totally painful experience and afterwards I couldn't breathe properly for about a week and had to have these menthol steam'bongs'. I also had a big bubble in my chest which was just kinda 'body fluid' which took several weeks to be reabsorbed. The coolest thing was that I was stitched up with metal staples so it looked like I had a zipper running down my chest.
I recovered pretty quickly considering and got out as soon as I could.
On my second day out I dropped acid and caned loads of poppers - I could literally feel my 'staples' popping cos I was laughing so much, each laugh was so painful I just had to laugh, a vicous circle it was! That was probably one of the stupidest things I have ever done.
