Loved the comics. Still got em boxed up in my closet.
Unfortunately, the movies are just utter Hollywood trash to me... biggest problem I have is the butchering of the storylines... If they were so hellbent on including characters like Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Rogue, why didn't they just start off with the Mutant Massacre storylines (circa Uncanny X-men #211 I think) which is probably the better section of that comics history that includes a lot of the newer generation X-Men... and damn, what's up with Juggernaught, he doesn't look to "Juggernaught-ish" to me. *sigh... looks like I'll have to check this out on video.
