wimps. I have to go UK-Oz-US-UK every year, 12hours + 10 hours to Oz , 15 hours Syd-LA, etc...
longest total trip time: 32 hours.. Detroit-Chicago-LA-S yd-Brisbane-Mackay with lots of waiting along the way. I win.

(May 23 06, 11:10)I win for longest bus ride, which is arguably worse than taking a plane. Unless you're sick, in which case you can get fresh air at the next rest stop and you can't do that on a plane unless you want to also commit suicide.
