well, if you had a contract you would be a lot better off. if you would have had them sign off on the design 3 months ago for you to continue, and NOW they want all of these changes you could have referred them to your contract that said "blah blah blah by signing off on the design now you agree that any changes or modifications made at a later date will be billed extra at $45 per hour" or whatever. then i'm sure you wouldn't be in the predicament you are in now.
